Patches of tumor cells are reactive for epithelial membrane antigen (EMA). ---- Not shown: Immunohistochemistry for progesterone receptor (PR) shows patchy nuclear staining. The proliferation index is low (2%) as measured by staining for Ki-67. The morphological and immunohistochemical features are diagnostic of a meningioma, WHO grade I.
