3B1-5 Sections show nodules, nests and cords of epithelioid cells and clear vacuolated cells ("physaliphorous cells") with hyperchromatic nuclei and small nucleoli, set within an abundant myxoid matrix. Mitotic figures are hard to find and there is no evidence of tumor necrosis. (H&E)
