Case 16 History ---- The patient is a 15 year old boy with a chronic history of neck and back pain and slowly progressive gait difficulties as well as urinary frequency and scoliosis. Operative procedure: Thoracic laminectomy with excision of intramedullary spinal cord tumor. ---- 16A MRI showed a mid-thoracic enhancing mass affecting the spinal cord circumferentially with holocord syringomyelia both above and below the lesion.
