Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 36-year-old man with no significant past medical history who presented with a one month history of positional and tussive headaches, as well as one day of nausea and vomiting with vertigo. CT at an OSH showed a cerebellar mass with brainstem compression and hydrocephalus. Operative procedure: Craniotomy-posterior fossa. ---- 2A1-3 Brain MRI showed a 5.1 x 2.6 x 2.5 cm predominantly cystic mass with an enhancing mural nodule in the left cerebellar hemisphere, with resultant distortion of the fourth ventricle and herniation of the cerebellum inferiorly. ---- 2A1,2 These T1-weighted images are shown without (2A1) and with contrast (2A2) demonstrating enhancement.
