Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 54-year-old woman who presented with bilateral lower extremity edema with back spasm. ---- MRI shows a 1.3 cm T1 hypointense, T2 isointense and homogenously enhancing right T8 spinal canal lesion. The differential diagnosis includes neurogenic tumor, meningioma, exophytic primary cord lesion and hemangioblastoma. As per her medical record, the patient had an “occipital hemangioma” resected at an outside institute 20 years previously. Operative procedure: Thoracic laminectomy and resection of intradural extramedullary mass at T8. ---- 4A1,2-T1-weighted images without (4A1) and with contrast (4A2) shows marked enhancement.
