H&E shows a circumscribed richly vascularized neoplasm. The tumor cells (stromal cells) are generally small, with finely vacuolated cytoplasm and hyperchromatic irregular nuclei. Occasional cells exhibit karyomegaly. Mitotic activity is inconspicuous.
