6A2,3 The neoplastic stromal cells have pale eosinophilic cytoplasm, usually with coarse foamy vacuoles that impart a 'bubbly' appearance, and show striking pleomorphism, occasionally exhibiting bizarre karyomegaly with irregular nuclear borders and intranuclear pseudoinclusions. Mitotic figures are rare (< 1/10HPF).
