Case 14 History ---- The patient is an 84 year old man with a history of renal cell carcinoma, now with a ring-enhancing mass in the right cerebellum. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for tumor resection. ---- 14A Sections of the specimen show cerebellar tissue invaded by a renal metastatic neoplasm composed of cells with hyperchromatic nuclei and clear cytoplasm, arranged in tubular or glandular structures separated by delicate vascular stroma.
