Case 16 History ---- The patient is a 62-year-old man with a thoracic tumor. Operative procedure: Resection. ---- 16A Sections show foci of a malignant tumor composed of tubulocystic structures invested by a rich capillary network. The neoplastic cells are large, polygonal, have clear cytoplasm, distinct but delicate cell borders, and predominately small bland nuclei.
