Case 20 History ---- The patient is a 63 year old man with a history of renal cell carcinoma with multiple metastases. Operative procedure: excision. ---- 20A Sections show fragments of hemorrhagic tumor with a predominantly lobular pattern of growth and, in areas, solid sheets of tumor cells that have clear cytoplasm and prominent nucleoli.
