2B1-4 The tumor is a cellular lesion composed of prominent capillary vasculature, foamy stromal cells, hemosiderin deposition and abundant small blood vessels. The stromal cells intermingled between capillaries have slightly eosinophilic to vacuolated cytoplasm with minimal to mild nuclear pleomorphism. Mitotic activity is minimal to none and there is no necrosis. The tumor margin is fairly discrete and the surrounding brain is gliotic with numerous Rosenthal fibers (H&E)
