3B1-6 Sections both the "left cerebellar tumor" and "posterior fossa lesion" show highly vascular neoplasms with central cystic areas. The tumor cells are large and round with cytoplasmic clearing (lipidization) and contain pleomorphic round-to-ovoid nuclei with dense chromatin. The margins of the neoplasm contain numerous Rosenthal fibers. Mitotic figures are hard to find. (H&E)
