4B1 Hemangioblastoma (Case 4, VHL Dz) H&E 10X
4B1,2 Sections from all cerebellar mass lesions consist of multiple hemangioblastomas. The tumors are highly vascular and have a lobulated pattern. The tumor cells are large, round with cytoplasmic clearing (lipidization) with pleomorphic round-to-ovoid nuclei containing dense chromatin. Mitotic figures are hard to find.
