Case 5 History ---- The 43 year old male patient has a cerebellar mass, a history of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome and a previous history of renal cell carcinoma. The patient was hospitalized for obstructive hydrocephalus secondary to the development of multiple posterior fossa masses described as hemorrhagic and enhancing by brain MRI. Operative procedure: Posterior fossa craniotomy and resection. ---- 5A1-3 MRI studies: 5A1,2 T1-weighted images without (5A1) and with contrast administration (5A2) showing enhancement.
