5B1,2 The lesion consists of neoplastic cells with well-demarcated cell borders and clear cytoplasm. Some, however, have a somewhat granular to foamy eosinophilic cytoplasm. Nuclei are generally round to ovoid and contain variable chromatin with inconspicuous nucleoli. Occasional cells with enlarged pleomorphic nuclei are present. Mitoses are not prominent. The background vasculature consists of numerous fine capillaries.
