The lesion consists of neoplastic cells with well-demarcated cell borders and clear cytoplasm. Some, however, have a somewhat granular to foamy eosinophilic cytoplasm. Nuclei are generally round to ovoid and contain variable chromatin with inconspicuous nucleoli.
