6C1,2 This is a hypercellular and highly vascular neoplasm in the S1-S2 space. It consists of cells with well-demarcated cell borders. Many of the neoplastic cells have clear cytoplasm, and others granular to foamy eosinophilic cytoplasm. Nuclei are generally round to ovoid and contain variable chromatin with inconspicuous nucleoli. Occasional cells with enlarged pleomorphic nuclei are present. Mitoses are not prominent.
