Case 13 History ---- The patient was a 58 year old woman with a history of left parietal parasagittal and convexity meningeal neoplasm. This lesion has previously been resected three times. Clinical diagnosis: Recurrent tumor. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for tumor resection. ---- 13A1-4 The neoplasm is composed of a dense proliferation of spindled cells separated occasionally by dilated microvascular channels that often demonstrate the "staghorn" pattern associated with SFT. The mitotic rate is low although zones of tumor necrosis are present.
