Case 8 History ---- The patient was a 52 year old woman with a 7-month history of progressively worsening confusion and memory loss along with a left arm tremor. MRI showed a large enhancing extra-axial mass involving the right and left frontal lobes (right>left) and appeared to arise from the falx. Operative procedure: Craniotomy with tumor excision. 8A1-3 MRI studies: The tumor is isointense with the surrounding brain in this T1-weighted scan without contrast administration.
