Case 3 History ---- The patient was a 97yo male with a history of prostatectomy, artificial sphincter implantation, and colon cancer, status-post colectomy in 2004/2005. According to a June 2009 note the patient had significant dementia; however, no detailed neurological evaluation or brain imaging is available for pathologist review. ---- At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1210g.
