There are no beta amyloid plaques or amyloid angiopathy. (BAP IHC) ---- Not shown: There are no Lewy bodies, TDP43 neuronal cytoplasmic inclusions, or Pick bodies. Neuronal loss is minimal in the hippocampus and elsewhere in Ammon’s horn and in the parahippocampal gyrus. The substantia nigra and locus ceruleus show a normal complement of pigmented neurons and no Lewy bodies.
