Additional examples of locus ceruleus tangles. (H&E) ---- Not shown: Sections of the cerebellum (besides the vermal atrophy) are unremarkable, with the dentate nucleus being well populated. Sections of the left temporal lobe also revealed an arachnoid cyst with preserved thin cystic wall characterized by a single row of flat arachnoid cells.
