16A0 Case 16 History
Case 16 History The patient was a 55yo female with a history of onset of choreiform movements beginning in 1960 (at age 46). Cognitive and memory functions were apparently well-maintained until a few years prior to death. Recently the patient had become increasingly forgetful and disoriented. She belongs to a family with a long history of Huntington's disease extending over several generations. (Cryptic clinical summary reflects the difficulty of obtaining a complete medical history).
