This LFB-PAS whole mount preparation shows that there is variable pallor involving the dorsal columns (arrowhead). Spheroids are always more numerous in the grey than white matter; however, scattered spheroids are found in the dorsal columns and in the lateral corticospinal tracts (arrow).
