At autopsy the fresh, unfixed brain weighed 1270g. ---- 3A1-3 There was mild atrophy of the frontal, parietal, and anterior temporal lobes. Coronal slicing of the formalin-fixed hemibrain revealed mild dilatation of the lateral ventricle with rounding of the angle. The hippocampus was substantially atrophic.
