At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1350g. ---- 1A1 The sulcal/gyral pattern displays widening of sulci consistent with general atrophy. The ventricular system was dilated with mild blunting of the angles. A coronal section of the cerebral hemispheres reveal an unremarkable cortical ribbon. The underlying white matter shows two possible STN stimulator tracks, seen better at higher magnification in the next image. The hippocampi are unremarkable.
