At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1460g. External examination reveals minimal cortical atrophy. Coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres also demonstrate minimal atrophy. The right thalamotomy site demonstrates cystic tissue loss and measures 1.2 x 0.3 x 0.3 cm.
