Case 11 History ---- The patient was a 78yo female with a long history of Parkinsonism, depression with psychotic features, degenerative joint disease, and hypothyroidism. She was being cared for in a nursing home. She had been bed-bound and minimally conversant at least since 2002, the time of her last inpatient admission to BJH. That admission was for bleeding from her gastrostomy tube. The patient died in May 2005.
