There are essentially no neurofibrillary tangles in the anterior cingulate or any neocortical site. (2E2 – PHF1 IHC) ---- Final Neuropathologic Diagnoses: Lewy Body Disease (LBD) involving brainstem, limbic & neocortical cortices (Pure LBD); Alzheimer's disease-type changes were very mild and did not meet any criteria for Alzheimer disease including Khachaturian, CERAD, and NIA-Reagan.
