The weight of the unfixed brain was 1155g. The sulcal-gyral pattern is mildly atrophic. The cerebellar hemispheres appear shrunken. The occipital poles can be easily identified from the inferior aspect of the brain, a coarse measure of cerebellar atrophy. The brainstem also appears small.
