16D1-6 Neuronal loss and gliosis are mild in the tegmentum but more marked in the basis pontis. White matter tracts and nuclei have severe alpha-synuclein pathology, manifested by numerous GCIs, scattered neuronal cytoplasmic (NCIs), neuronal intranuclear inclusions (NIIs), and neuropil threads or neurites.
