4H1,2 Scattered inclusions of pSYN in neurons and satelliting oligodendrocytes in the cerebral cortex. Some neuronal inclusions could overlap with cortical Lewy bodies; however, no Lewy bodies were seen in the substantia nigra and the cortical inclusions are more angular than globular. There is some loss of neurons in the neocortices but no neuritic plaques or neurofibrillary tangles. (pSYN IHC)
