6D2-5 PSYN immunoreactive oligodendrocytic GCI in the pons are accompanied by a variety of neuronal nuclear and cytoplasmic inclusions. White matter tracts and nuclei have severe alpha-synuclein pathology, manifested by numerous GCIs, scattered neuronal cytoplasmic (NCIs), neuronal intranuclear inclusions (NIIs), and abundant neuropil threads or neurites. No PHF-1 immunoreactive inclusions are identified. Lewy bodies are not encountered in neurons of the locus ceruleus. (pSYN IHC)
