7A1,2 At autopsy his unfixed brain weighed 1240g. There was mild sulcal widening in multiple lobes with occipital sparing. The angles of the lateral ventricles were mildly blunted with expansion of the inferior horns and the third ventricle. The putamen showed gray-brown discoloration accompanied by mild volume loss.
