5A1-4 At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1330g. Coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres revealed a somewhat atrophic cortical ribbon, underlying white matter, basal ganglia, and thalamus. The ventricular system was markedly dilated with blunting. The substantia nigra showed pigment loss and orange discoloration.
