7B1-4 These sections of the globus pallidus show variation in the degree of involvement with differences in pigment deposition, astrocytosis, and axonal spheroids. In the zona compacta and reticularis of the substantia nigra, there were a number of axons which appeared swollen and irregular but with little else. (H&E)
