Higher magnification of the junction shows clear differences in location and appearance of PGBs. The dorsal horn PGB (arrow) differ from those in the dorsal column (arrowhead), particular surrounding blood vessels perivascular spaces in their density and color. The rims of PGB in gray matter show thin darkly stained material not present in dorsal column PGBs.
