3E1 PGB (Case 3) SC EM 061 - Copy
3E1-8 Ultrastructural studies show that gray matter PGB composed of loose filamentous material consistent with the appearance of polyglucosan material in other sites. These inclusions are contained within processes that often contain mitochondria and in some sites dense core vesicles and are likely axonal or synaptic in origin. Only a single PGB is clearly contained within a myelinated axon. ---- 3E1,2 A PB contained within a myelinated axon as seen at two magnifications. (electron micrographs)
