11A2,3 Coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres confirm the moderate degree of cortical atrophy with increased sulcal width evident throughout and particularly marked in the region of the sylvian fissure. There is a moderate degree of dilatation of the lateral and 3rd ventricles, with rounding of the lateral ventricular angles.
