On coronal section the brain showed mild dilatation of the lateral ventricles in the frontal regions with a moderate degree in the occipital and temporal horns. Brain weight was not recorded. ---- 18A1,2 The subthalamic nuclei showed neuron loss, astrocytosis and occasional globose tangles in remaining neurons. (H&E)
