1A1-3 At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1340g. ---- Coronal slicing revealed marked dilatation of the lateral ventricles with rounding of the angles, and markedly dilated inferior horns. The right lateral ventricle is filled with blood clot. The cerebral cortices and subcortical white matter show mild atrophy. The hippocampi are only mildly reduced in size.
