Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 17 year old girl with a clinical diagnosis of acute liver failure. Operative procedure: Liver transplant. ---- 4A1 A low level of staining was seen in some hepatocytes but more substantial staining was found in the Kupffer cells. A copper stain shows isolated positivity in hepatocytes as well as staining in scattered groups of macrophages/Kupffer cells.
