The section in 2A4 has been marked to identify regions of the adult hippocampus. I have tried using many references to outline the regions of the Cornu ammonis (CA1-4) and I am confident about CA2-4 but the precise separation of CA1 (“Sommer’s sector”) from its bordering regions seems to vary between references.
