1A0 Case 1 History
Case 1 History ---- This patient was a 26-year-old man with a decrease in sensation of pain, touch and temperature of the left leg below the knee and the foot for the past four years. He also complained of a left foot drop over the past three years. The weakness and sensory deficits have been gradually progressive over the past three years but have remained stable for the past six months. There is no history of any other motor or sensory deficits or any cranial nerve deficits. There is no history of any bowel or bladder problems, vasculitis or skin lesions. The patient is not diabetic. Operative procedure: Tibial and common peroneal nerve biopsy. (Many thanks to Dr. Geeta Chacko for sending me the specimen in this case)
