Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 63 year old woman who has progressive upper and lower extremity weakness with hypertonia, hyperreflexia, and electrophysiologic evidence of demyelination thought initially clinically to be CIDP. She failed treatments for CIDP and was evaluated by right sural nerve biopsy. ---- 4A1 There is a degree of fascicle to fascicle variability in axon density but no frank angionecrosis.
