Case 5 History ---- The patient is an 81 year old man with upper extremity weakness and a history of predominantly sensory axonal neuropathy. Operative procedure: Sural nerve biopsy. ---- 5A This section shows 5 vessels, mostly venules. One vessel is located in a septum (arrow) of the perineurium. “Endoneurial” arterioles may rarely be found within a septum. (Plastic section)
