Case 15 History ---- The patient is a 45 year old man with a history of abdominal pain, chronic viral hepatitis of recent onset, and sensory motor neuropathy of uncertain etiology. He was once admitted to the hospital because of progressive weakness of his legs to a point where he was unable to walk. The patient also noted beginning weakness in his hands. His abdominal pain was diagnosed as afferent ischemic colitis. Clinical diagnosis: Rule our vasculitis causing a recent onset sensory motor neuropathy. Operative procedure: Left sural nerve biopsy and left quadriceps muscle biopsy
