Case 23 History ---- The patient is a 57 year old man with complaints of muscle weakness and numbness. Operative procedure: Right lower leg muscle, blood vessel, and nerve biopsies. ---- 23A1-3 Microscopic examination of routinely stained sections of paraffin-embedded right lower leg nerve biopsy shows focal deposition of eosinophilic amorphous material within the endoneurium and in a rare epineurial blood vessel.
