Case 5 History ---- The patient is a 58–year–old woman with diabetes and familial lipodystrophy secondary to a lamin A/C mutation. She presents with small fiber neuropathy that began in 2002, lumbosacral plexopathy diagnosed in 2017, and progressive leg weakness. Operative procedure: Left gastrocnemius muscle and left sural nerve biopsies. --- 5A1,2 H&E stained material is largely unremarkable, with some epineurial/perineurial hyalinization without evidence of inflammation and vasculitis.
