Various magnifications of this small vessel show a cell with patchy basal lamina (arrow, 26L4C). Is this a residual pericyte rather than a spindled endoneurial cell? There is an additional element which may be basement membrane free in the endoneurium. (arrowhead, 26L4C). (electron micrographs)
